There have been an unprecedented number of federal prosecutions and settlements in recent years related to a wide variety of research compliance topics such as federal grants management, time and effort reporting, subrecipient monitoring, and clinical trials billing. Universities and academic medical centers must closely examine the controls that they have in place to ensure the proper stewardship of federally funded projects, as well as the proper billing of research-related medical procedures.
This program provides an introduction into the framework, rules and pitfalls of research compliance within the governmental and commercial contexts.
